Katherine Klimitas is an aspiring artist who began painting at the age of five. She often depicts her favorite animals in watercolors and acrylic, giving them personality and character. Many of her clients commission her to paint portraits of their pets from photographs. She also creates lovely pieces of jewelry, generally with semi-precious stones and sterling silver.
Although Katherine leads a fairly normal life, she has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease) and has been wheelchair bound all of her life. Her art career began at her grade school, Saint Paul’s Episcopal, with a very talented and very gifted teacher and mentor. She graduated locally from Benjamin Franklin High School (ranked the 16th best public school in the nation), and has just graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Loyola University New Orleans.
Katherine is currently accepting new clients for graphic design jobs, such as logo, business card, letterhead, or any other type of marketing design. She is also accepting commissions for pet portraits and other paintings, as well as for custom jewelry!
